This player will not play on my custom built desktop. I am using Mozilla Firefox and it won’t load the video. It plays perfectly on my other comp. It’s prob my error and easy to fix, but I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong.

It works but if your computer runs extremely hot while compressing a video you know why

I’m not happy. I upgraded to the “Standard” version and actually liked it, once I was able to figure out how to use its features. Unfortunately, I cannot solve the audio rendering problem. I’ve sent a copy of the VE-generated data sheet to their support address and have not heard back from them after repeated attempts over months.

It’s too bad really, as it IS a good editor, but if it won’t render simple projects without freezing, and they can’t get back to you with support issues (with a paid upgrade), I’d have to recommend steering clear of this product.

Forget about upgrading to the next level, the HD editor. Not with the lousy manual and zero user support.

Always trusted this site (Download.com) but this download was really sneaky and fooled me into accepting installation of 3 ‘Virusware’ products, under the guise of accepting the User Agreement. I know it was my fault, but I was on a friends computer and in a rush, so didnt scrutinise the installation. His computer is now unusable and full of Malware .. Wazam etc BEWARE!

This progam has everything in it. Easy to use, very good help files and instructions, no problems encountered on many windows based pc’s. Ive tried all avaliable webcam security software this was the first and I tried and its also the one I use and recommend to my friends and clients. Its all here I dont want anything else

1) You can choose a target file size and it does the rest.
2) I reduced a mp4 to 10 percent of its size and saw virtually no change in quality.
3) You don’t have to know anything about compression. The only variable is the output file size. Just what I needed.
4) It really is free. No watermarks. No limit to film length.

Compilation of new “video” from existing captured clips in the “collection” is difficult because drag and drop is only available in current view.

Such a pleasant surprise to find a video converter that does the job quickly and perfectly WITHOUT all the spyware, malware and Bloatware that alot of the other video converters have got .. I love it Totally !

I want to a video file from my computer to my hand phone

It has to have too much baggage to run right. SQLserver2005SP2 has to be downloaded from microsoft as the version it wants you to use is out dated. And this file is 290mbs. But then another problem arises it wants another program!

Virtually useless unless you only convert files an hour or so long. I can understand limiting a free version, but limit what functions are available (special formats, etc.). Don’t make it totally unusable and waste my precious time downloading and experimenting with it, just to have to uninstall it. Or at the very least, make it clear there is a limit in the product description.

I am extremely disappointed as I thought I finally found the right free program to convert my vob files to avi.

The name says it is professional, but it don’t have 2 professional features. I prefer to open files by drag and drop, unfortunately the player don’t support it. I’m using the computer in my lab, and since I can only install the program, I need administrative privilege to run movies. Players like zoom player and powerDVD, you can simply copy the installed folder and paste to any computer and run the program.

I RECOMMEND THIS SOFTWARE FOR ALL USERS.

i like this product

Support is limited to a very technical Facebook page, and you have to be willing to learn by doing. There is no manual or tutorial so far.

Many of the effects require a high level graphics card, and a LOT of memory, especially if you start layering effects. A quad core processor is good, too. Basically, a gaming computer, the stronger and faster, the better. I would guess it’s the same for any program of this type.

My bottom line is this is an indespensible tool for people that use video for training, instruction or lessons. The ability to zoom, slow down and loop video is extremely useful. It’s ability to download files from Youtube and other video sharing websites means that I have almost an unlimited supply of videos from which I can create my own library of lessons.

I tired to combine several movie clips into one larger file that was about 23.6 megs, but when I went to play it in Windows Media Player, even though the move was several minutes long, it only showed that it was 15 sec long.

It will re-encode every file resulting in lower quality than the original and there is no way to tell the program to only split the file.

Easy to uninstall.

The problem is that videos with flv file could not work in this software.

I tried to convert two youtube’s video:
1-Ne-Yo – One In A Million
2-Gipsy Kings – Trista Pena

Both in 1280 resolution. In the first convertion the app crashed down. The second one did converted, but the sound quality left much to be desired!

sucks, grainy, darker, their own styling and, has their logo and url hyperlink over the top of your work including saying that it is an unregistered version. ie you have to pay for it to remove their advertising and well, it is not good enough to buy anyway. This does not belong in the FREE section. This belongs in the FREE TO TRY section.

A program called “RelevantKnowledge” installed itself along with the installation of the “Video Cutter and Splitter Indepth” program. The “RelevantKnowledge” program shows up as an icon on the system tray and a window pops up asking if one wants to participate (with millions others) in having one’s web activity tracked. Yeah, just what I’ve been hoping and waiting for, someone to track my activity on the web so I can share and see the combined results of millions of others being tracked. A quick web search indicated other people had problems with the “RelevantKnowledge” program being installed covertly piggybacked on various trialware or shareware problems. CNET should not allow this and it seems to be an error to assure people that this program install spyware free.

After three installation tries, all three recording modes only recorded a black screen. On several occasions when I tried to open Camverce, a pop up message said that it was already running. There was no indication of it running anywhere. It wasn’t listed in the task bar, sys tray or in task manager. I had to reboot in each case.
Innoheim’s customer support is the worse I’ve ever dealt with. Information in their online support data base is lacking. The Camverce user forum link listed in the help menu is a dead link.( Error 404: NOT FOUND!) Their web page support request form says they will respond within 12 hours but not in my case. I submitted two requests over two days. After no response on day 4, I called the vendor and made my first request for a refund. They instead gave me an email address for Innoheim liteCam support to try which I did.
There is no telephone number to contact them with either by the way!
liteCam Support respond to my email the next day asking for my system information which I sent. They wanted me to set up an appointment to go to some web page that they would later provide me the URL to and then remotely connect to my PC, if I was comfortable with that. I was not! Not having much confidence in them at this point, I gave them my telephone number since they ignored my request for theirs and asked them to call me. Well, they never did. On day seven, I made another request to the vendor for a refund and that is now in the works.
One thing that I came up with on my own was that I suspect the recording problem may be associated with the automatic hardware acceleration that Camverce performs. When installed on Windows 7, it’s an automatic function and there is no manual setting for it.

This is a great product.It is free, the mpeg2 encoder is the 30 day trail. Lots of options to fit to your needs, and can put audio and video together. Has everything you want and it’s for free.

Limitations should be reviewed before being posted to help stop wasted downloads.

I never use a software that can add effects in real time. Wow! It gives me the strange feeling. Now i use it to play DVD. It deserves 4 stars.

You have to download the Codecs you require. But this is very simple procedure and are all available on their website. They clearly mark which Codecs do what.

I needed a simple video file joiner. Did not need a lot of bells and whistles and this was perfect for my need.

This is amazing for converting flv files on a slow computer, and it gets the aspect right for iPod Touch. (Tip: If you’re just putting videos on your iPhone/iPod, convert them on the “low” setting. Small files, and half the conversion time!)
